Although many Korean heroes* of the past and present are not very well known outside of their mother country, they deserve a very special place in history, parallel to the American and Caucasian heroes that are taught in schools today. Through their individual efforts, they have not only raised Korea up to what it has become today, but spread the seeds of their efforts all over the globe. Through this section of the blog, I hope to recognize the efforts of these heroes, and weave their stories into the thread of pioneers that people admire internationally.
